Every GMC comes with the comprehensive 3-year/60,000 km1 Base Warranty covering repairs on your entire vehicle, including parts and labour, to address defects in materials and workmanship. The included Powertrain Component Warranty is now 5-year/160,000 km1 and covers select powertrain components.

Any time you require assistance during the Powertrain Component Warranty1 period, regardless of where you may be in Canada or the contiguous United States, Roadside Assistance is at your disposal 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.**

Whenever your GMC requires scheduled maintenance or warranty repair service during the warranty period for Powertrain Warranty1, your dealer will provide you with shuttle transportation for daily service or an alternate car (or reimbursement for rental or other transportation expenses) for overnight service.**

Standard on every GMC is the 2-Year Complimentary Lube-Oil-Filter Maintenance program. It provides a complimentary lube-oil-filter maintenance service to the customer for the first 2-year/48,000 km of ownership (whichever comes first). Owners are limited to four service Lube-Oil-Filter events during the 2-year/48,000 km timeframe, whichever comes first.

In the unlikely event that your GMC is stolen, OnStar®4 (if subscribed) can work with authorities and use GPS to pinpoint and quickly help attempt to recover it5. On many models, an advisor can then send a Stolen Vehicle Slowdown®5 or Remote Ignition Block5 signal (working in conjunction with police) to possibly help authorities safely recover your vehicle.

Getting directions6 is as easy as pushing a button and telling an Advisor where you want to go. Directions are quickly downloaded to your vehicle, and a voice calls out every turn. An Advisor can also help you with a database of over one million points of interest.

And when it’s time for certain maintenance, we can notify your preferred dealer to set up an appointment. Plus, Proactive Alerts (if available) can notify you of certain potential issues with select key vehicle components before they become a problem.

Remotely control your vehicle from virtually anywhere with the app that lets you remote-start your vehicle (if equipped), manage your vehicle’s OnStar® 4G LTE with built-in Wi-Fi® hotspot9 (if equipped), and monitor the health of your vehicle, including fuel efficiency, tire pressure10 (if equipped) and oil life.

If you’re in a crash, built-in sensors can automatically alert an OnStar Advisor who is immediately connected into your vehicle to help. And with the available Injury Severity Prediction, Advisors can help prepare first responders for the severity of the crash.11
