A MESSAGE ABOUT SAFETY

Available safety features vary by model. See dealer for details.

Safety or driver assistance features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Visibility, weather, and road conditions may affect feature performance. Read the vehicle’s Owner's Manual for important feature limitations and information.

FORWARD COLLISION ALERT

This available feature alerts you when it detects a front-end collision is imminent with a vehicle ahead that you are following. The system also can alert you if you are following a detected vehicle much too closely.

FORWARD AUTOMATIC BRAKING

When operating below 80 km/h, this available feature can alert you when a front-end collision is detected to be imminent with a vehicle ahead that you are following. It also can potentially help reduce the collision’s severity or avoid the collision by automatically applying hard emergency braking if you have not already, or by enhancing driver hard braking.

FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING

This available feature alerts drivers when an imminent collision is detected with a pedestrian directly ahead (while driving below 80 km/h). It can also potentially help reduce the collision’s severity or avoid the collision by automatically applying hard emergency braking if you have not already, or by enhancing driver hard braking.  Performance is limited at night.

SAFETY ALERT SEAT

The available Safety Alert Seat uses left, right, or both-side driver seat vibration pulses to help you identify the direction of potential crashes so you can quickly take action. You can also switch to beeping crash avoidance alerts.

AIRBAGS

Working with the seat belt system, airbags help reduce the risk of injuries to drivers and passengers during moderate to severe frontal impacts and in side impacts and in rollovers.

AUTOMATIC PARKING ASSIST

Available Automatic Parking Assist can search for and steer your vehicle into a parallel or perpendicular parking space. While the feature steers, you’ll brake, accelerate and follow directions to shift gears.

FRONT AND REAR PARK ASSIST

Available Front and Rear Park Assist can provide distance alerts at low speeds to nearby detected objects to help you park and avoid objects.

REAR PARK ASSIST

The available Rear Park Assist can provide distance alerts to nearby detected objects behind the vehicle to help you park and avoid them when in Reverse at low speeds.

REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT

Alerts you to detected left or right cross traffic behind you when in Reverse.

LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT

Helps you avoid lane-change crashes by providing side-mirror alerts when a moving vehicle is detected rapidly approaching a side blind zone or in a side blind zone.

LANE KEEP ASSIST WITH LANE DEPARTURE WARNING

This available feature helps you avoid crashes due to unintentionally drifting out of your lane by providing gentle steering wheel turns when the system detects you are drifting out of your lane with no turn signal or steering activity. It can also provide Lane Departure Warning alerts when a lane marker is crossed.

FOLLOWING DISTANCE INDICATOR

This available feature provides drivers with the following gap time (or headway) to a moving vehicle you are detected to be following to help you know if you are following much too closely.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

The available Adaptive Cruise Control enhances regular Cruise Control by using sensors including radar technology to automatically adapt the vehicle speed to maintain your selected following gap time between your vehicle and any vehicles detected ahead while you steer, reducing the need for you to frequently brake and accelerate.

HITCH GUIDANCE

This available feature uses Rear Vision Camera overlays to help align a vehicle with a trailer, and provides a camera view to briefly check the trailer when driving.

HITCH GUIDANCE WITH HITCH VIEW

Hitch Guidance with Hitch View uses the Rear Vision Camera feature to help align a vehicle with a trailer and adds camera zoom with pan and tilt. It also provides a camera view to briefly check the trailer when driving.
