DRIVER-ASSISTANCE TECHNOLOGIES

Supertrucks are engineered to offer driver-assistance technologies to help make the most of your driving experience. These innovations use a combination of cameras, short- and long-range radars and ultrasonic sensors to help you avoid potential collisions and make you and your companions feel safe, secure and confident.

Safety or driver-assistance features are no substitute for the driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings and road conditions at all times. Visibility, weather and road conditions may affect feature performance. Read the vehicle Owner’s Manual for more important feature limitations and information.

ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL

Adaptive Cruise Control allows you to automatically follow a detected vehicle ahead at a driver-selected following gap. You can always override the feature and take control.

ENHANCED AUTOMATIC PARKING ASSIST 

Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist can automatically steer, brake, and shift gears to park your vehicle into a detected parallel or perpendicular parking space while you are in the driver’s seat. It can also help you unpark after parallel parking. You must always be prepared to override the feature and take control.

ENHANCED AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING 

Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking works with Forward Collision Alert to help you avoid or reduce the severity of a front-end collision with the vehicle you’re following, including at highway speeds. Radar and camera technology are used to automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking.

LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT 

Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert provides visual side-mirror alerts when a moving vehicle is detected either quickly approaching or already in your side blind zone. It can help you avoid lane change collisions. HUMMER EV also offers Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert. Trailer Side Blind Zone Alert is a trailering feature that provides visual side-mirror alerts when a moving vehicle is detected in a side blind zone that is extended to trailer lengths.

FRONT AND REAR PARK ASSIST 

Front and Rear Park Assist provides alerts to nearby detected vehicles and objects in front of or behind your vehicle to help you park and avoid collisions.

FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING 

At speeds below 80 km/h (50 mph), Front Pedestrian Braking can help you avoid or reduce the severity of a collision with a pedestrian it detects directly in front of you. It provides alerts and can automatically provide hard emergency braking or enhance the driver’s hard braking. It has limited nighttime and low visibility performance.

INTELLIBEAM AUTO HIGH BEAMS

This automatic headlamp control can turn the high-beam headlamps on and off in response to surrounding conditions.

SAFETY ALERT SEAT 

Safety Alert Seat uses left, right or both-side driver seat vibration pulses to help you detect and identify the direction of potential crashes. You can also switch to beeping crash avoidance alerts.

A TRUE VISIONARY 

Available UltraVision† provides various camera views to help manoeuvre in almost any situation. Up to 18 camera views in the pickup and up to 17 in the SUV—including waterproof underbody front- and rear-facing cameras—provide real-time views of the terrain under the supertrucks.
